Pay Yo Bills: Naomi Campbell is Being Sued by Moodform for Breach of Contract

naomi-campbellNaomi Campbell had a cosmetics line that was created by Moodform back in 1998 called Cat Deluxe with Kisses and Seductive Elixir. Part of their agreement with Naomi was that she would give them a percentage of the profits and she had been following through until one day when she just stopped sending in the payments.

Naomi, Naomi… Get it Together

Hot-tempered stunner Naomi Campbell is being hauled back into court – and for once, it’s not over one of her phone-flinging meltdowns.

Moodform Mission is suing Campbell, charging that the feisty supermodel cut the cosmetics company out of profits for products titled “Cat Deluxe with Kisses” and “Seductive Elixir.”

“The payments stopped coming,” said Daniel Bright, a lawyer for the Miami-based company. “I guess she just decided she didn’t want to pay any more.”

The British beauty, who has been repeatedly sued by underlings who accuse her of hurling cell phones at them, is accused of breaching a contract she signed in 1998 in which she agreed to pay a portion of profits to those who developed the cosmetics line.

“She’s still making money from these products and so is the company that’s selling the stuff,” Bright said. “It’s my clients who got cut out.”

A spokesman for Campbell said she “categorically denies” Moodform Mission’s claims.

“Ms. Campbell trusts our legal system and does not intend to litigate in the media,” the spokesman said. “She is confident that the judge and the jury in this case will fully vindicate her.”

The suit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, seeks unspecified damages; Bright declined to put a dollar figure on how much Moodform Mission is owed.

“It’s significant,” he said. “This stuff sells well.”

The Campbell cosmetics line includes gels, deodorants and perfumes that, according to their Web site, carry a “powerful sensuality” and “dance with exuberant energy.

Has anyone ever used her cosmetics line???
