Rihanna Brown’s testimony will be closely followed by her fans and press as she makes her testimony in a New York court. The singer has requested the court not to televise the proceedings as it leads to the media hyping the entire thing out of proportion. If convicted Chris Brown could face up to five years behind prison bars. The testimony could in a way end his career for good and five years is a pretty long time in the entertainment industry to make a come back. Prosecutors are collecting all the evidence they can to make the case air tight even as rumors making the rounds suggest that Rihanna is not all that keen to testify against her ex Chris Brown. All this started because of the February 8 incident in Los Angeles where Chris Brown after a heated argument with Rihanna had hit her so badly that she needed medical assistance. Initially she had wanted to press charges but now seemed to have a change of heart and was not all that cooperative with the authorities. Their mutual friends seem to be working behind the scenes to work out some sort of reconciliation between them and their meeting at P.Diddy house seems to be due to this effort of theirs. Strong indications coming after the meeting suggest that she is not all that keen to press charges. Even if Rihanna decides not to testify against Chris brown the authorities can still go ahead and prosecute him for domestic violence. The law in California clearly states that even if the couple reunites if there is enough evidence of the violence the concerned authorities can prosecute without the testimony of the affected person. Rihanna Brown’s testimony will have its share of twists and turns and will generate a lot of interest.
