Leona Lewis' Cousin Adrian Henry Found Guilty

Leona Lewis has been compared to Mariah Carey on more than one occasion. She's a Brit pop-star who won the reality TV show X Factor in 2006. Since 2006, Lewis has been nominated for Grammy Awards three times. Her first album, Spirit, was released in 2007 and was the biggest seller of that year in both the UK and Ireland. She plans to release her second album, Echo, in November 2009. Lewis' music career is on the fast track, but her family life is on the rocks.

Leona Lewis' cousin, Adrian Henry, recently plead guilty to an April robbery and assault. Henry will serve a 6 year jail sentence. Adrian Henry and two accomplices broke into a north London apartment where they beat and robbed three men.

Police found Adrian hiding 'under a bush' near the property in Arsenal. He was tried in the Blackfriars Crown Court last week and was sentenced to six years in prison, starting today. Adrian's younger brother Erren, 20, was also allegedly arrested in conjunction with the same robbery, but has yet to be tried or sentenced.

Leona is said to be close to both cousins, and has spoken publicly about their troubled lives in the past. She has yet to issue a statement about their most recent arrest
